Special NSS Camp inaugurated at Charakbai HS School

Santirbazar Dec 02: 7-day long special NSS Camp was inaugurated on Friday at Charakbai Higher Secondary School under Santirbazar sub-division.
Chairman of Jolaibari Block Panchayat Samiti Ravi Nama, inaugurated the event after hoisting the NSS flag.
Program officer of NSS Nakul Das, acting headmaster of the school Janardhan Chakraborty, chairman of the school's development committee Ratan Baidya, Dulal Debnath and Narayan Shil also remained present at the event.
Speaking at the event, inaugurator Ravi Nama said that public service is done through small works. Through National Service Scheme everyone is taught how to work for public welfare.
Ravi Nama further said that at present water is being delivered to every household through Atal Jaldhara Mission.
“In this situation, if any people see that water is being wasted, then by blocking the water tap, water wastage must be prevented. This is a social act”, he added.
Chairman of Jolaibari Block Panchayat Samiti Ravi Nama, made a special appeal to everyone to work for the welfare of the society through small works at the first instance.
On the other hand, program officer Nakul Das informed the media about various programs of NSS for seven days.
Students of different classes presented colourful cultural program at the day’s inaugural function.
