T20 cricket: United Friends won rain affected match

Agartala, Aug 05: Due to heavy rain the 20-over match between United Friends and PC, was played in 1 over in senior T20 cricket organized by State Cricket Association at MBB Stadium on Friday.
Incessant rain since Thursday evening left the outfield drenched.
As a result, the match could not start at the scheduled time. Ground staff work long hours to make the ground fit for play. In the end, the match was played in 1 over.
In response to the 20 runs scored by United Friends, PC lost 1 wicket and scored 8 runs. After winning the toss in the morning, United Friends batted first and scored 20 runs. Tripura Ranji team's reliable all-rounder and hard hitter Rajat Dey was in devastating form at the start with 22 yards.
He scored 16 runs in just 4 balls. Rajat's run was arranged with the help of 1 boundary and 2 over boundaries. Besides, Deepak Khatri scored 3 runs off 2 balls.
In reply, PC managed to score only 8 runs after losing 1 wicket in 1 over. On behalf of the team, Rahul Chandra Saha played 5 balls and scored 7 runs with the help of 1 over boundary.
