Teachers’ Body stages protest over Pending DA

Udaipur July 26: Left Front backed teachers’ union held protests on Tuesday over 31% pending DA and several other issues.
Amid rain, a protest program was held at Jamtala area on the call of Tripura Employees Solidarity Committee, Udaipur Sub-divisional Committee on the basis of four charter point demands.
Secretary of the organization Praloy Dey other leaders including Jahar Lal Das, Dilip Sarkar, Keshav Chakraborty remained present at the program.
Talking to the reporters secretary Praloy Dey said along with pending DA, regularization of fixed and contractual employees must be done on immediate basis.
Also the Union asked the government to take control over the rising prices of essential commodities.
Demands like solution of 10,323 teachers issue, mitigation of teachers’ crisis in state government school, recruitment of TET qualified candidates were also raised in the protest.
The organization also demanded restoration of previous pension system for all employees.
