Agartala may 15: Teresa Diagnostic Centre, a renowned healthcare facility, has unveiled plans to expand its services by transforming into a multi-speciality hospital within the next few months. The announcement was made by Dr. Achintya Bhattacharya , co-owner of Teresa Diagnostic Centre, during a press conference held on Monday. He also revealed an exciting series of events to commemorate its silver jubilee.
Dr. Bhattacharya said, "We have acquired a plot of land near IGM Hospital, where we will commence the construction of a state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital in the near future." This expansion aims to further enhance the quality and scope of medical care available to the local community.
In addition to the hospital expansion, Ashish Sen, another co-owner of Teresa Diagnostic Centre, informed the media about the upcoming launch of an advanced ambulance equipped with a built-in ventilator. This will be the first ambulance with a ventilator in Tripura, providing crucial life-saving support during medical emergencies.
Teresa Diagnostic Centre will celebrate its 25th successful year on May 17 next. The observance of the jubilee celebration will be held in three days – May 17, May 21 and June 11 - to commemorate this significant milestone. The festivities will commence with a blood donation camp at the Teresa Diagnostic Centre in Agartala. Subsequently, a special distribution of eatables will take place for cancer hospital patients, followed by an enchanting musical night featuring renowned Kolkata stars, Shubhamita and Nachiketa.
On May 21, a walkathon will be organized to promote the global cause of 'say no to drugs.' The walk will be followed by a small function in the evening at Muktadhara, bringing together participants in support of a drug-free society.
The final day of the jubilee celebrations, scheduled for June 11, will feature a public awareness program aimed at addressing common health issues faced by the general public. Esteemed doctors from across the country will deliver informative sessions to raise awareness about day-to-day health concerns.
