Agartala, Aug 06: The Chalaman Sangha vs Harvey match scheduled to be held at the Narsinghgarh Police Training Academy ground on Saturday morning was cancelled due to bad condintion of the filed after excessive rain.

The players of both the teams were present on the field at the scheduled time.

But due to rain on Friday night, several parts of the field got waterlogged.

The umpires waited for a long time but declared the match cancelled as the field was not fit for play.

As a result, both teams got 1 point each.

Harvey is in some trouble because the club built the team this year with the goal of being the best.

Coach of Harvey team- Nayanmani Debbarma said, "It was not possible to start the game due to the condition of the field. As a result, the umpires were forced to abandon the match. We are under a bit of pressure as the points were shared."
