Agartala Jan 24: Having announced its clear intentions of not shaking hands with ‘CPIM-Congress’ alliance in view of Tripura assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress has been extensively campaigning across the state and capital city.
State TMC leaders accompanied by activists and supporters divided in groups are reaching out to every single door of common people in respective areas while urging the voters to cast vote for Trinamool Congress in the ensuing polls.
Trinamool Congress activists led by State Youth TMC working president Santanu Saha conducted door-to-door campaign on Tuesday in Chittaranjan area under Banamalipur assembly constituency.
Talking to the reporters Santanu Saha claimed that people of Bnamalipur especially the youths are deprived since long years.
“After 25 years of Communist regime and 5 years of BJP-IPFT government, people of Banamalipur especially the youths are victims of deprivation. Although Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb belonged from Banamalipur assembly constituency, but youths of the area got nothing”, he said.
“4 years being sitting on the throne of chief minister, Biplab Kumar Deb did nothing for the youths of this area”, he added.
Deb further said, “People of Banamalipur and other parts of Tripura area ready to vote for Trinamool Congress and establish Mamata Banerjee led government in Tripura”.
