Tourism Minister chairs crucial meeting ahead of Promo Fest Closing Ceremony

In preparation for the grand closing ceremony of the Unity Promo Fest – 2025, scheduled to be held on December 12 at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the state capital Agartala, a high-level meeting was held at the Secretariat on Monday.

The meeting, chaired by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, brought together senior officials to ensure smooth coordination and collective effort for the successful conduct of the event. Present at the meeting were the Secretary of the Tourism Department, the Inspector General (Law and Order), the District Magistrate of West Tripura, the Superintendent of Police of West Tripura, along with senior and joint directors of the Tourism Department and other key officials.

Discussions focused on logistical arrangements, law and order, crowd management, and inter-departmental cooperation to guarantee that the closing ceremony is conducted seamlessly. 

Minister Chowdhury emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and urged all departments to work in close coordination to uphold the spirit of unity and celebration that the festival represents.

The Unity Promo Fest – 2025, organized by the state Tourism Department, has already generated significant public interest, and the closing ceremony is expected to draw large participation.
