Agartala, Nov 20: The Pradesh Training department of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised three days long training camp for the representatives of the urban local bodies including municipal corporations, municipal councils and nagar panchayats here in the Gitanjali conference hall at Agartala Ranirbazar.

Briefing about the objective of the training camp, the BJP state spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty said that during the training session, the members of all local urban bodies will be sensitized about their role of rendering their services for the general public, especially in implementation of the welfare schemes of both the Central and state government.

The training session will also check the status of the implementation of the government project works made so far in tune to the enhancement of implementation of welfare schemes in the urban bodies, he said, adding that this is also to ensure that the schemes and developmental project works of the Narendra Modi-led government and the state government reach to the beneficiaries.
