Tripura’s Nayana Chakraborty bags Gold Medal in Vedic Astrology, calls it “Kaali Magic”

Agartala Feb 20: While astrology provides useful insights, it’s important to use it wisely. Astrology is a tool for understanding ourselves, our lives better and making choices, not a crystal ball that shows the future, says a renowned woman astrologer Nayana Chakraborty.

Born and brought up in the land of Mata Tripurasundari, Udaipur, Nayana Chakraborty hails from the respected priest family who have been serving goddess Tripureswari  for ages.

Elder daughter of one of the present priests at Tripureshwari temple, Narayan Kumar Chakraborty, her grandfather, Late Parimal Chakraborty breathed his last while serving the deity at one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, Matabari.

Although her father wanted her to adopt teaching as a profession, Nayana got attracted to astrology because of being inclined towards Kaali Maa since her childhood.

Disclosing her study life, Nayana Chakraborty said, “I graduated in English Honours from Udaipur Netaji Subhash Maha Vidyalaya and later did Masters in English from IGNOU. Also did another master degree course in Sociology and then completed B.Ed as my father wanted me to take up teaching as a profession”.

“Probably because of being associated with a family of priests who have been serving Mata Tripureshwari for decades, I had developed an immense love and affection for Kaali Maa since childhood. My entire world revolves around her”, she said.

Nayana further added, “When I had to leave my family and settle in Agartala because of getting married, I could not bring the deity I used to worship at my father’s place. So I did ‘pran prathistha’ (consecration) of another deity whom I call ‘Sona Maa’. The directions of this were given by my Kaali ma in my dreams”.

The immense love towards my goddess, pushed me more towards astrology and encouraged me to learn more about this science. Astrology is not changing one’s life, but bringing peace of mind to one’s life, she said.

Having a great dedication towards this field and with the blessings of ‘Sona Maa’ I received a gold medal in Vedic Astrology, informed Nayana.

Talking about Vedic Astrology, Nayana said, “The Indian astrology is the oldest form of astrology in the world, the aura of Indians is different as they are more grounded towards spirituality. There are many aspects of astrology, the syllabus is huge and there is a lot to learn so that people in need can be helped”.

A trending woman ‘Kaali Sadhika’, Nayana Chakraborty has a huge fan following on social media. A family of more than 25k followers who keep an eye on her regular predictions and ‘totkas’ or remedies for a better living.

Nayana who is also the first astrologer from Tripura to have grabbed a place in famous online Astrology App, Astrotalk, says, “Its Kaali Magic”.
