Tripura BJP to felicitate Biplab Kumar Deb on Aug 30

A wave of excitement has swept across Tripura following the appointment of MP and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National General Secretary.

Highlighting the appointment as a matter of “pride for Tripura,” the state BJP has planned a grand felicitation programme in Agartala on August 30 to honour Deb.

Tripura Pradesh BJP General Secretary Bhagaban Chandra Das has urged party workers at all levels to attend the felicitation programme at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan.

Das said Deb’s appointment to the post of National General Secretary is a matter of great pride for Tripura and has generated renewed enthusiasm among BJP workers and supporters across the state.

The felicitation programme is expected to witness the participation of leaders from various organisational levels of the party, elected representatives, party workers and supporters. 

Deb will be accorded a warm welcome at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala and later he will be felicitated at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, with party leaders and workers extending their greetings and best wishes for his new responsibility.

Das appealed to all party workers to attend the grand programme in Agartala on August 30 and contribute to making the event a success.
