Agartala, Feb 27: After Booth, Mandal and District Presidents, the Bharatiya Janata Party is now set to announce its Tripura Pradesh president.

According to BJP state chief spokesman Subrata Chakraborty, the election of State Presidents is underway in various parts of the country. He expressed hope saying that the state unit would also get the president soon.

Meanwhile, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday chaired an important organizational meeting at the state party office, Agartala.

BJP state president and MP Rajya Sabha Rajib Bhattacharjee, Senior leader and Agriculture minister Ratanlal Nath, along with Mahila Morcha state president Mimi Majumder and other state leaders were present in the meeting.

The Spokesperson said, the meeting has been convened to discuss various topics in the presence of new district presidents and office bearers.

All the party leaders present in the meeting paid homage to Late Balai Goswami, who was Sabhadhipati of Paschim Tripura Zilla Parishad.
