Agartala, June 02: Responding to a media report, Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha has extended support to a young girl for her treatment.

Taslima Begam of Udaipur had met an accident in Bangalore in December last year. She was working in a private company.

She had received serious injury on her head and undergone treatment in a private hospital of Bangalore. Her family spent nearly Rs. 5 lakh for the treatment.

When Taslima's health condition improved a bit, she along with her mother moved to a rented house near Jagannath Dighi in Udaipur.

She was asked to visit the hospital after one month but it was not possible due to financial reasons. Since then, the young girl remained bed ridden. She can't even speak normally.

She needs quick medical attention but financial problem is the barrier, her mother Bulbul Begam told media.

As soon as the news appeared in a local channel, it had drawn attention of the Chief Minister. He commented on the news link on social media and assured support to ailing Taslima.

The Chief Minister in his comment mentioned that an instruction was already passed to the SDM Udaipur for taking necessary steps.
