Sonamura/ Charilam/ Agartala, Nov 22: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday took part in multiple programmes in Sepahijala district
He inaugurated newly constructed CMO Office at Bishramganj, Prati Ghare Sushashan Mela and beneficiary conference, 1000 MT Rice go-down at Nalchar, 1000 MT Rice go-Ddown and 100 MT input go-down at Uttar Paharpur.
He also laid foundation stone for new building of Baranarayan HS School and SDM Office in Sonamura. He also visited the house of a beneficiary woman- Anita Debnath and addressed a public rally at Nabadwip Chandra Institution ground.
Addressing the rally, Dr. Saha said, "the people have voted us. Now, it is our responsibility to delivery good governance to them."
He said, a section is making attempts to disrupt the unity among the people and trying to fish in troubled water. In this context, he appealed to all to stay aware.
Meanwhile, as part of his visit, the Chief Minister visited the house of a beneficiary, who received benefits of various schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin. Anita Debnath is the beneficiary from Dhanpur constituency.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said, "The benefits of various public welfare schemes are transforming the lives of rural people. Anita Debnath of Dhanpur in Sonamura is one of those beneficiaries. She has received the benefits of PMAY-Rural, free water & power connections, toilet, LPG connection & old-age allowance."
In a separate tweet, the Chief Minister said, the benefits of various schemes are now reaching out to the people even in remote corners.
"Under the leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, Tripura is marching ahead. The benefits of various govt schemes are reaching out to the people and bringing smiles to them. Happy to interact with the beneficiary- Anita Debnath & her family during a programme today," he tweeted.
The beneficiary and her family expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister for providing such benefits.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Zilla Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Dutta, MLA Subhash Chandra Das, Sepahijala District Magistrate Viswashree B., and other local officials.
