Tripura CM chairs meeting, says BJP set to form govt with huge seats

Agartala, Feb 21: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday chaired an important organizational meeting at the party’s state election office.
In the meeting with the Karyakartas of Sadar district unit, the Chief Minister appealed to them not to fall prey to any instigation of the opposition parties for maintaining peace.
Later in a social media post, the Chief Minister commented that with people’s blessings, the BJP would form the government with huge number of seats.
While the opposition parties already set a tune that they would win, the Chief Minister’s comment would definitely help build confidence among the party Karyakartas.
BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, minister Ramprasad Paul, Mayor Dipak Majumder, Dr. Ashok Sinha and others were present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, Tripura voted on February 16 and the counting votes would take place on March 02. The state witnessed around 90 percent turnout while there was no report of any violence during the voting.
