Tripura CM inaugurates, lays foundation stones for Rs. 105 Cr worth of development projects in Gomati District

Marking a major milestone in the development journey of Gomati district, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 11 development projects worth nearly Rs. 105 crore. 

The projects span key sectors including education, healthcare, sports, road connectivity and administrative infrastructure, reflecting the state government's continued focus on holistic development. 

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that development is the most important pillar of citizens' lives. Guided by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both the Central and State Governments are working with development as their foremost priority. 

Highlighting the government's development initiatives, Dr. Saha said that during the last financial year, he personally inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth around Rs. 1,500 crore across different parts of the state. Excluding today's programme, he has already inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth nearly Rs. 121 crore during the current financial year. 

He said that the BJP-led government has always believed in bringing positive transformation through people-centric governance and infrastructure development. 

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the second phase of the Mukhyamantri Niramay Arogya Abhiyan 2.0 comprising the Niramay Lab Network and Stop Diarrhoea initiative. He underscored the importance of the programme in achieving the vision of a healthier Tripura through preventive healthcare and improved medical services. 

The event was attended by Ministers Pranajit Singha Roy and Tinku Roy, Gomati Zilla Sabhadhipati Debal Deb Roy, MLAs Abhishek Debroy and Jiten Majumdar, along with other public representatives and senior officials.
