Tripura former CM meets President-elect Droupadi Murmu

Tripura former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb met President-elect Droupadi Murmu in the national capital on Sunday.
During his meeting with Murmu, Deb exchanged greetings and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure as the President of India.
“Exchanged greetings with newly elected and first Tribal woman President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu ji at New Delhi. I pray to Mata Tripurasundari for her successful tenure in service of the people of India,” Deb wrote in a social media post.
Meanwhile, President-elect Droupadi Murmu will take oath as the 15th President of India on Monday. The ceremony of assumption of office will take place in the Central Hall of Parliament.
Deb, who is in Delhi for the last few days, met several union ministers and senior party leaders and discussed various development and organizational issues.
On Friday, he had a courtesy meeting with Union Cabinet Minister of Jal Shakti Shri Gajendra Singh Sekhawat. According to Deb, he held fruitful discussions on a range of matters.
