Agartala Nov 23: Highlighting the importance of blood donation in saving lives and supporting healthcare needs, Tripura Graduate Fisheries Officers’ Association on Saturday organized a blood donation camp at Fish Health Investigation Hall, College Tilla, Agartala.

West Tripura Zilla Sabhadipati Balai Goswami, inaugurated the event, making a heartfelt appeal to the community, encouraging everyone to come forward and donate blood.

He emphasized that "blood donation is a great donation" and urged individuals to contribute to this noble cause.

Deepa D. Nair, Secretary, Department of Fisheries, Govt. of Tripura, also remained present on the occasion.

She said, “Every individual has some responsibility towards the society, he/she lives in. By donating blood, the participants not only demonstrated their generosity but also helped to ensure a stable supply of blood for medical emergencies”.
