Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday chaired an important preparatory meeting at the Secretariat to make upcoming ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ event successful.

BJP state president Abhishek Debroy, TTDC chairman Nabadal Banik, Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs department- Kiran Gitte and Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee were present in the meeting.

According to the minister, the initiative is aimed at reaffirming the commitment to public service, expressing respect for the nation and taking the message of service and the government’s welfare-oriented initiatives to every section of society.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the overall preparations, coordination among stakeholders, participation and other key aspects related to the programme. Necessary directions were also issued to ensure its effective implementation.

Chowdhury called for collective cooperation and active participation to make the ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ a platform for spreading the spirit of service, unity and patriotism among the people.

‘Service is our resolve, service is our strength; our commitment is public welfare,” the minister commented.
