
To commemorate 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram, Tripura Police organized a special event at the Police Headquarters in Agartala on Friday, featuring a collective singing of the anthem, a photo exhibition, and a band performance.

Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag addressed the gathering, reflecting on the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its role as a powerful catalyst in India’s freedom movement. He emphasized how the song continues to inspire patriotism and unity among citizens, transcending generations.

Marking the occasion, Tripura Police also paid solemn tribute to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the revered composer of Vande Mataram, acknowledging him as a symbol of national pride and unity.
