Agartala, Feb 02: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday chaired an important poll meeting with all the BJP nominated candidates.

BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, party's Northeast Coordinator Dr. Sambit Patra and other leaders were present in the meeting held at BJP's election office, Agartala.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Saha said, the poll strategies were discussed with the candidates. Besides, the discussions also included BJP national president J.P. Nadda's upcoming visit to Tripura.

Meanwhile, Tripura will go to polls on February 16 next and the results will be declared on March 02.

According to official sources, after scrutiny, 19 out of 310 nominations filed for the assembly polls were found invalid.

The process of filling nominations was over on Monday while the scrutiny of the nomination papers was held for all the 60 Assembly seats on Tuesday.
