Tripura Power Minister invited to attend global Bengali conference in New York

 Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath has been formally invited to participate in the prestigious North American Bengali Conference (NABC) 2026, one of the largest global gatherings of the Bengali diaspora.

The invitation was extended by the Cultural Association of Bengal (CAB) and the organizing committee of the 46th North American Bengali Conference (NABC 2026), which is scheduled to be held from July 2 to July 5, 2026, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York, USA.

Recognized as one of the most influential international platforms for Bengalis living abroad, NABC is expected to attract thousands of Bengalis and Bengali enthusiasts from North America and across the world during the four-day event. 

The conference is widely celebrated as a grand platform showcasing Bengali culture, heritage, business, and intellectual exchange.

According to the organizers, the event will serve as a vibrant forum for cultural interaction, community engagement, international collaboration, business networking, and academic discussions. 

Prominent leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, academicians, artists, technologists, investors, and cultural personalities are expected to attend the conference.

The organizers noted that for nearly five decades, NABC has played a vital role in preserving and promoting Bengali culture and traditions in North America.

The conference has also helped strengthen cultural ties among Bengalis worldwide while opening avenues for collaboration in trade, education, and social initiatives.

One of the major attractions of NABC 2026 will be a large-scale trade fair featuring more than 70 exhibition stalls, showcasing handloom products, fashion, boutique items, jewelry, handicrafts, and other creative works from West Bengal and various parts of India, offering an international audience a glimpse into Bengal’s rich artisanal heritage.
