Agartala, April 04: A large number of SSA teachers under the banner of Samagra Shiksha Employees Association knocked the door of the State Project Director of Samagrah Shiksha Tripura here at Agartala Shiksha Bhawan on Tuesday and pressed for a 6-point charter of demands.

The demands mainly included a regular pay scale for all NC category teachers, DA and other financial benefits for all working under the Samagarh Siksha Abhiyan, regularisation of all SSA employees and others.

Briefing the media regarding the demands, the chairman of the association – Bastab Debbarma urged the government to execute their demand from the month of June or July this year.
