Tripura to get Ayurveda, Homeopathy Medical Colleges, Rs. 140 cr sanctioned

 Tripura is set to get an Ayurveda Medical College and a Homeopathy Medical College soon.

According to Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India has sanctioned Rs. 140 crore for establishing the proposed Ayurveda Medical College and Homoeopathy Medical College in Tripura.

On Tuesday, a high-level meeting was held to finalise the roadmap and initiate all steps to start the colleges from the next academic session, the Chief Minister mentioned in a social media post.

He extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J.P.Nadda, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Prataprao Yadav for significant support to strengthen healthcare and education in Tripura.
