Tripura's Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya declared UNESCO Associate School

The Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, Agartala, has achieved a landmark distinction by being declared a UNESCO Associate School, a recognition of its overall excellence in education. 

This global honour places the institution among a select network of schools worldwide committed to advancing quality learning, values, and holistic development.

The announcement has sparked pride across Tripura, with congratulations pouring in for the teachers, staff, and students whose dedication and achievements have brought international recognition to the state.

Former Tripura Finance Minister and current Governor of Maharashtra, Jishnu Dev Varma, shared the news on social media, praising the institution’s leadership. He wrote, “My pranam to the Secretary Maharaj and to the Swami jis for their dedication, that has led to this outstanding global achievement.”

"Congratulations to all the teachers, Staff and students for achieving this worldwide recognition of Ramakrishna Mission Vidayalaya", he added.

The recognition is expected to further elevate the Vidyalaya’s reputation as a center of academic excellence and value-based education, while inspiring other schools in the region to strive for similar standards.
