TRLM conducts exposure visit to DDU-GKY 2.0 training centre in Agartala

In a step towards creating awareness and inspiring rural youths for skill development, the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) facilitated an exposure visit under the DDU-GKY 2.0 programme to the training centre at Jogendranagar, Agartala.

The exposure visit was organised by the Jolaibari Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) under South Tripura district as part of its community engagement and awareness generation activities.

Members from four Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) — Kalasi CLF, Muhuripur CLF, Debdaru CLF, and Jolaibari CLF — participated in the visit and toured the residential training centre, which provides a three-month skill training programme in Electronics Hardware Components.

During the visit, the CLF members interacted with trainees and reviewed various facilities including hostel arrangements, modern laboratory equipment, training infrastructure, quality of trainers, and food services being provided to rural youths from different parts of Tripura.

The visiting members expressed satisfaction and happiness after witnessing the strong ecosystem being developed for skill training, employment generation, and youth empowerment.

TRLM officials stated that the mission, in collaboration with Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs), remains committed to empowering rural youths across the state with industry-oriented skills, better career opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods through training and placement initiatives under DDU-GKY 2.0.
