TSS vs Jampuijala in Women's Knockout Football Final

Tripura Sports School has entered the final of the Women’s Knockout Football Tournament organized by the State Football Association. They will face Jampuijala Play Centre in the mega final at Umakanta Mini Stadium on December 8.

In Saturday’s second semi-final, the favourites Tripura Sports School defeated Tripura Police 3–0. In the battle of youth versus experience, the young squad of Tripura Sports School had the last laugh. From the very beginning, they maintained dominance, keeping possession and frequently breaching the opponent’s defence.

Tripura Sports School scored their first goal in the 26th minute through Smriti Mog. With increased confidence, they intensified their attacks. In the 29th minute, Shreya Deb doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort. Shreya scored again in the 50th minute, sealing the win. The margin could have been bigger, but several easy chances were missed.

Pallab Chakraborty refereed the match, and Shreya Deb of the winning team was adjudged Player of the Match.
