Two arrested for submitting fake documents at Dharmanagar Court

In a shocking breach of judicial integrity, two individuals have been arrested for allegedly submitting forged documents in Dharmanagar court to secure bail for a Bangladeshi citizen. The accused, identified as Duple Nath and Sanjib Malakar, were taken into custody on Tuesday following a directive from the court.

According to sources, Duple Nath, a government employee under the Health Department, submitted a fake salary slip to facilitate the bail process. He is currently posted at the Bhagyapur Sub-Centre under Brajendranagar Primary Health Centre and resides in Gobindapur, Dharmanagar subdivision. Sanjib Malakar is also accused of being involved in submitting forged documents during the court proceedings.

The incident has triggered widespread concern across the region, with residents and officials expressing alarm over such fraudulent activity within the sanctity of the judicial system.

Dharmanagar Police, led by Additional Officer-in-Charge Dulal Chandra Das, have launched a detailed probe to trace the origin of the forged documents and uncover the broader network, if any, behind the act.

Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against all those found guilty, as the case continues to unfold.
