Dharmanagar, Nov 29: The North Point School in Dharmanagar hosted a two-day Inter-School Science Fair on Friday and Saturday. The event was attended by Samir Ranjan Nath, OSD of the North District Education Department, eminent educationists Ashim Bhattacharjee and Bhaskar Sengupta, former principal of the school, Shashank Shekhar Das and several others.

During the inaugural session, speakers emphasized the importance of science in shaping the future. Students presented 24 innovative models, which were evaluated by judges Ashim Bhattacharjee, Bhaskar Sengupta, and Shashank Shekhar Das.

The second day featured a workshop on vermicomposting, inaugurated by Dr. Ranendra Chandra Nath, Head of the Geological Department at Dharmanagar Government College. Dr. Abhijit Dutta from Fatikroy Ambedkar College's Biological Department was a key guest. Students, teachers, and parents attended the event, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
