U-15 Cricket Berimura emerge champion

Berimura Cricket Coaching Centre emerged champions in the Sub-Division U-15 Cricket Tournament. In Sunday’s thrilling final, they defeated Bamutia Cricket Coaching Centre by four wickets at Kalagachhia School Ground under the Sub-Divisional Cricket Association.

Souradip Dutta delivered an outstanding all-round performance and was awarded Player of the Match. Batting first, Bamutia CCC scored 196/7 in 50 overs. Tushar Mondal (60 off 133 balls), Kaushik Deb (51 off 53), Pritam Sarkar (20 off 45) and Sagnik Das (15 off 11) were the top scorers. They also received 37 runs in extras.

For Berimura, Gautam Das claimed four wickets for 53 runs and Souradip Dutta took three for 23. Chasing 197, Berimura CCC reached the target in 34.2 overs with six wickets in hand. Arghajit Sarkar scored 51, Souradip Dutta 37, Jaydeep Das 24 and Biprajit Debnath 23. They also benefited from 28 extras. Ajay Munda took three wickets for Bamutia CCC.
