U-15: Kamalpur best in sub-div

Kamalpur Play Centre emerged as the best team in the subdivision. In a one-sided final match held on Sunday, Kamalpur Play Centre defeated YRC by nine wickets in the Under-15 cricket tournament organized by the Sub-Divisional Cricket Association.

At the Kalibari ground, YRC, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, scored 118 runs. Mayuraksh Das scored 31 off 35 balls with five boundaries and one over-boundary. The team received 22 runs in extras. For Kamalpur Play Centre, Aradhya Dutta took five wickets for 42 runs.

In reply, Kamalpur Play Centre chased down the target in 24.3 overs, losing just one wicket. Opener Peerjak Debbarma remained unbeaten on 50 off 79 balls with seven boundaries. Peerjak Debbarma of the winning team was adjudged Player of the Final.
