U-15: Manu to face Chhailengta in Jr Cricket final

Chhailengta Cricket Zone will face Manu Cricket Zone in the final of the Sub-Divisional Under-15 Cricket Tournament, scheduled for Friday.

In the second semi-final played at the Khagrachhara School ground on Wednesday, Chhailengta defeated Chhamanu Cricket Zone by eight wickets, riding on an impressive bowling spell by Manoj Sarkar.

Chhamanu were bowled out for 74 runs, with Ranabir Saha (13), Shubhajit Barua (11) and Anurag Barua (11) contributing. Extras accounted for 22 runs. For Chhailengta, Manoj Sarkar took five wickets for 16 runs, while Nirab Chakma and Rusal Rupini shared the rest.

Chasing the target, Chhailengta reached it losing two wickets, with Sandip Roy (26) and Bikash Debnath (25) remaining unbeaten.
