Agartala Dec 07: Claiming that Bharatiya Janata Party is a “Party with Difference” Tripura chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that people of Tripura want to see BJP back in power in 2023.
The chief minister on Wednesday conducted door-to-door campaign under “Har Ghar BJP Abhiyan” in Ward numbers 20 and 31 in his home turf Town Bordowali.
Followed by huge number of supporters, local leaders and AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder and Corporator Ratna Dutta the chief minister visited houses in the area amid a pomp and gaiety show.
Speaking to the reporters, chief minister Dr Manik Saha said, “Har Ghar Abhiyan is a campaign to reach out to the 8.5 lakh households across the state”.
“Our aim is to achieve cent percent votes in favour of the party and we are producing the report card of work done by our government so far so that people can realise and cast their votes accordingly”, he added.
The chief minister added, “We are bringing before the people, transparency, accountability and good governance, moreover we are also creating awareness on the various steps taken by this government to ensure peace and development in the state”.
“People have received houses, water connections, electricity, they are happy with the government and its work”, he added.
The chief minister further added that the people of Tripura want BJP to regain power in the next elections.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha also started wall painting works owing to BJP's election campaign on Wednesday.
The campaign started on November 27 and will continue till December 3, and is aimed to touch all the karyakartas, voters and people of the targeted areas.
