Any sane person (irrespective of race, religion, country or political affiliation) would condemn the cold-blooded shooting of 26 innocent human beings to death in Pahalgam and demand highest punishment possible for the brute terrorists.
But instead of restricting oneself to express empathy for the killed innocents and demand exemplary punishment for the devils, all forms of nasty things are getting zealously propagated which need to be earnestly protested to the full.
Social media is flushed with posters announcing "ALL EYES ON PAHALGAM HINDU TOURISTS"!
The most apt counter-questioning poster should read like this "WHY NO EYES ON HARYANA MUSLIM RAGPICKER"! Yes, was the cold-blooded murder of Bengal-origin Muslim ragpicker Sabir Malik in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district by the cowardly mob of cow vigilantes any less disgusting! Or do the crocodile tears-shedding "conscientious" brigade treat human rights of the privileged tourists on a higher scale than that of the poorest of the poor ragpickers! Or should all eyes turn "vigilant" only when the Hindus get killed! So no need for "opening" of "all eyes" when the Sabir Malik/Junaid/Pehlu Khan/Mohammad Afrazul/Mohammad Akhlaque/Asgar Ali/Tabrez Ansari get lynched/burnt to death in Haryana/Rajasthan/Uttar Pradesh/Jharkhand! Or should "all eyes" get wide awake only when the killers are of a particular religious vintage; but all can afford to have a "sound sleep" when the killers swear in the name of rabid Hindutva! Or we can arrive at the conclusion that only when mass killing would take place, "all eyes" should concentrate on it; but a dastardly incident with the victim being solo, doesn't merit any attention ! Are the tears of the mother of Sabir Malik hold lesser value than the mother of any particular victim of Pahalgam !
If constant highlight of the tourists being "HINDU" is BAD, the posts announcing :"ALL TERRORISTS ARE MUSLIMS" is WORSE with the WORST being "ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS". The ugly mindset of the social media brigade could have been ignored; but tragedy remains that such heartless posts with innumerable "Likes" reflect the communal poison which has engulfed the society.as a whole! No wonder why all norms of harmony and secular spirit of the Constitution are in grave danger of extinction! So it clearly proved that these bunch of "protesting brigade" have stooped to such a dark low that they do not hesitate to "encash" the deaths of innocents to spread communal hatred and vitriol !
All must learn to appreciate that devils have no religion, country, race as such. Devils are nothing but Devils and so they train their guns and swords upon fellow communities also! The much persecuted Dalit Hindus had/have been tortured by the Hindus (of so called "upper caste" vintage) themselves for centuries! Muslim Kasab didn't discriminate between Hindus and Muslims while engaging in frenzied shooting in Mumbai! The victims of the Afghan Taliban are often invariably Muslims! Surely the maximum of the victims of the Islamists in Bangladesh are Muslims only (of secular vintage)! Narendra Dabholkar MM Kalburgi Govind Pansare Gouri Lankesh had to fall courtesy the bullets of Hindus only!
So character assassinating all members of any particular country or religion just because of cruel activities of few heartless elements is nothing but assault upon humanity itself.
Last but not the least. Be it a single bomb blast in Bardhaman’s Khagragarh(way back in 2014 with both the victims happening to be the bomb-maker themselves) or a gangrape-cum-murder in a Kolkata hospital -- immediately BJP and the Bhakt brigade would demand resignation of Mamata Banerjee, dismissal of democratically elected TMC government and imposition of President's rule in the state! But when horrific incidents of deadly proportions get regularly witnessed in "Double-engine" states, Union Territories and "New India" -- the concerned administration to the administrator gets absolute "clean-chit" with "all eyes ears tongues" directed towards the criminals and terrorists only ! Just nobody would demand accountability from the seats of power, the buck stops at the door of whom! So far from questioning why Pathankot-Uri-Pulwama-Galwan-Pahalgam mayhem continues to happen; the popularity of those who are at the helm of affairs attain higher popularity ! No wonder why despite such blatant security cum administrative failures, these serious fatal lapse receive much electoral boost --- the shameless saga starting from Kargil with this atrocious "tradition" simply seeing no end.
