Agartala, June 30: CPI-M leaders led by CPI-M State Secretary, Jitendra Choudhury visits various houses of CPI-M members and supporters those were allegedly attacked since the announcement of Tripura By-Polls. Thursday, the CPI-M leaders visited Hiralal Das's residence at the end of Ramnagar Road No. 4, Gaur Kumar Bhattacharya's residence at Gangail Road at the end of Road No. 6, Kiran Lodh at Shyamali Bazar, Shantanu Debnath and Dipankar Shukla Vaidya of Indranagar area, Haradhan Debnath's residence and few more. CPIM state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury, CPI-M Leaders Sudhan Das, Ratan Bhowmik, Biton Das, Gautam Chakraborty, Bidhurudra Pal, Pabitra Kar, Shubhashish Ganguly and other party leaders remained present during the day’s visit. Talking to the reporters, CPI-M State secretary Jitendra Choudhury said, “A fascist regime has been established in the state of Tripura under BJP rule. Since the announcement of by-election results, BJP-backed miscreants have been carrying out attacks, riots and hooliganism in various parts of the Sadar sub-division. Not only in the 4 assembly constituencies where elections were held, but across the state this attacks and goodaism has been flourished by the ruling party goons”.

Jiten further demanded the administration to bring all those affected families under DM Compensation Scheme and compensate all the families.
