Tripura NHM appeals for registration under ABHA; to launch mass campaign from May 3

Agartala, April 28: Aiming to render hassle-free method of accessing and sharing your health records digitally, the National Health Mission, Tripura unit will launch a mass campaign from May 3 next as part of their digital initiative of registering people under Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) with a special focus on rural areas of the state.
Addressing a press conference here in the conference hall of the NHM office at Agartala, the Joint Mission Director Binay Bhushan Das said that the ABHA card will be generated for the registered individuals to store all information related to their health services and doctor details in one platform.
He said that the ABHA card, which will be linked to the PM and CM Jana Arogya Yojana scheme will manage details of medical treatments digitally, store medical documents such as diagnostic test reports and medical prescriptions under one particular account and use it for future reference and allow doctors to access their medical files, treatment history and diagnostic reports in one platform.
“We have initiated the process here in Agartala city and similar camps will be launched in other districts in phase wise starting from May 3 next, where training sessions will be conducted for registration in all districts and subdivisions,” he told reporters.
He further informed that the NHM has set a target to cover 22 lakh people under the ABHA card, of which 1552561 lakh individuals have already registered themselves in ABHA.
“People who have already registered themselves with the CM-JAY health scheme will be automatically registered under ABHA, while the people having registration in PM-JAY scheme and have been left out from the ABHA card, will be processed shortly,” he said.
