Sonamura, Feb 24: A missing schoolgirl from Jatrapur in Sepahijala district was rescued safely from an undisclosed location of Amarpur on Monday.

The minor schoolgirl from Bashpukur Panchayat area under Jatrapur police station had gone missing from her home on February 22 night.

Next morning, the parents of the missing schoolgirl informed local police. The family along with other locals created chaos following the incident. The local people suspected involvement of a youth from Barnarayan village in the incident.   

In the course of investigation, Jatrapur police succeeded in rescuing the minor girl from an undisclosed location of Amarpur sub-division on Monday.
