Agartala, June 29: One person held 16 gold biscuits from Agartala Maharaja Bir Bikram airport on Wednesday. CISF handed him over to customs.

The CISF security personnel detained the man identified as Pallab Chowdhury before boarding a flight for Kolkata. The gold biscuits were recovered from his possession during the security search in the airport.

Soon after the recovery of the gold biscuits the CISF informed the customs, following which the customs officials rushed to the airport and recovered the gold biscuits. The Custom is currently investigating the case.
