Agartala, July 07: Tripura has reported 15 fresh Covid positive cases over the past 24 hours, according to an official update.

The new cases have been reported from four districts- West Tripura (4), Gomati (3), Sepahijala (7) and South Tripura (1).

As per the report, 498 samples have been tested in the past 24 hours. Among them, 15 samples have been detected positive in Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)—the positivity rate is 3.01 per cent.

As of now, 41 Covid-infected persons are under treatment while four patients have recovered on Wednesday.

The order said, in order to contain the spread of the virus, Tripura Government has strengthened the surveillance and control measures against the disease.

In Tripura, total 1,00,946 Covid positive cases have been reported so far and the coronavirus has claimed total 920 lives.
