Santirbazar July 13: Jayshree Gope, 15-year-old daughter of Ratan Gope, a resident of Shankarpur area of ​​Muhuripur RF under Santirbazar sub-division, committed suicide on the railway line in Muhuripur Banbihar area on Wednesday. Later, the locals found the body of Jayshree Gope on the railway line and informed the Baikhora police station. Baikhora police station SI Sourav Das and SI Shivshankar Saha rushed to the spot and saw that although the place where the accident took place was Santirbazar subdivision but it was under Bilonia police station. Therefore information was sent to Bilonia Women's Police Station. Women Police personnel took the body to Bilonia Sub-Divisional Hospital for autopsy. A suicide note was recovered next to Jayshree Gope’s body. However a dispute erupted between the locals and the staff of Bilonia Women's Police Station centered on showing the suicide note to the locals. Police of Bilonia Womens Police Station refused to say anything to the media.

According to the locals, the deceased girl was in love with a boy from Gope area. But as he married some other women, Jayshree committed suicide. The locals alleged Police of Bilonia Women's Police Station is trying to cover up the incident in order to save the boy somehow.
