Kumarghat Jan 08: Government was run from Party Offices during Left Front regime, but BJP is working to deliver government at the doorstep of masses, said Pratima Bhowmik.

MoS Pratima Bhowmik in presence of MP Rebati Mohan Tripura, BJP General Secretary (Org) Phaniondranath Sharma, MLA Sudhanshu Das among others addressed ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ at Fatikroy in Unakoti District here on Sunday.

The mass gathering was organized as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Jana Vishwas Rath’ reached Fatikroy after traversing various places including Kailasahar and Chandipur mandals in Unakoti district.

Speaking on the occasion MoS Pratima Bhowmik said, “People of Tripura fought to achieve freedom in 2018 assembly polls and now in the ensuing 2023 assembly polls, people of Tripura will fight to hold on to the development”.

Highlighting the various developments in Fatikroy assembly constituency in these 4.8 years of BJP regime, Bhowmik said, “Development in connectivity, roads, repair of river banks, health care services in hospitals, opening new Gramin Bank branches and more benefits have been ushered on the people of Fatikroy by the BJP-led government”.

Taking a jibe over the Communist government in earlier days, Pratima said, “During the Left Front, the government was run from the party office and the people were subjected to terror and violence instead of development. But it is the BJP that has taken government to the doorstep of last man of the society”.

Addressing the program MP Rebati Mohan Tripura said, “The immense response received from common people as the ‘Jana Visahwas Rath’ is moving forward shows that people trust the BJP and will vote it back to power with majority”.

Meanwhile, local MLA Sudhanshu Das thanked the people of Fatikroy for keeping faith on him while urging them to vote him to power once more so that he can continue working for the welfare of the people.
