Agartala July 07: In a tragic incident, assumed to be a premeditated murder, one 25 year old youth's dead body has been recovered from  Haripur Das Para area under Belonia Police station on Thursday.  According to preliminary assumption the murder might be result of an illicit relationship. Receiving the information Belonia police rushed to the spot with huge police force, forensic team and dog squad.

According to the details of the incident, the body of deceased Abhijit Debnath of the same area was found at Shankar Shil's house in the morning. However, when asked to Sankar Shil's elder brother and his wife they said they are unaware of the incident. According to family members, including locals, Shankar Shil had killed Abhijit Debnath. On the other, Sankar Shil is fleeing from the spot. Shankar Shil's brother and sister-in- law said Shankar Shil's wife left the house after a heated argument yesterday morning. The people of the neighboring house did not want to say anything about it. As the area is very close to the border, Belonia sub-divisional police officer Abhijit Das said they have started an investigation into a murder case. Bangladesh Police and BSF are cooperating to arrest the accused in this regard.
