Agartala, Dec 10: Minister for OBC Welfare Ramprasad Paul inaugurated the 33rd Tripura Industries and Commerce Fair at Hapania International Fair and Exhibition ground in Agartala on Saturday. The fair will continue till December 25.

Around 310 stalls including 90 government, 10 international, 80 out of state and 130 local vendors participated in the fair to exhibit their products.

Chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Tinku Roy, West District Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Antara Sarkar Deb, MLA Mimi Majumder, First Secretary of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission Mohammad Rezaul Haque Choudhury, Tripura Tea Development Corporation chairman Santosh Saha and other dignitaries attended the inaugural ceremony.

During the fair, a day-long North Eastern Regional Conference on PM Gati Skakti scheme will be held at the Exhibition Hall on December 17 next.

After the inaugural session, the OBC Welfare minister and other guests inspected various stalls opened in the fair ground.
