Agartala July 09: Local women of Chakmaghat area under Teliamura Police Station nabbed four drug dealers and handed them over to the police.

Reportedly, for a long time, many youths in Chakmaghat area got involved with drug consumption.  Following which aware locals, including women forces of Chakmaghat area, launched an anti-drug campaign on Saturday and arrested four drug dealers from the area and brought them to Chakmaghat market and later handed them over to Teliamura police. The detained have been identified as Gopal Sarkar (50), Miton Sarkar (32), Rajiv Sarkar (33) and Prantosh Das (57).

Teliamura police registered a case under NDPS act and is investigating the matter.
