Agartala Nov 30: Four firefighters are recovering from injuries suffered while fighting a fire at Tarun Sangha Club in Bishalgarh.

People in the club were engaged with cooking for a wedding ceremony when a fire broke out because of a gas cylinder leakage all of a sudden on Thursday.

The fire department of Bishalgarh was informed immediately.  At the scene, four firefighters sustained injuries as they were trying to put off the engulfing flames.

The injured named Sankar Debbarma, Ranjit Das, Tapash Debnath and Sanjit Debnath were taken to the nearby hospital for primary treatment.

However, no major damage or casualties have been reported because of the fire.
