Agartala, Jan 01: The 43^rd edition of Agartala Book Fair will commence at Hapania international fair ground on Thursday.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate the 13-day fair in presence of other dignitaries.

This year, there will be no book stalls from Bangladesh. A total of 159 stalls (42 from outside) including booksellers and publishers from Assam, West Bengal and Delhi will participate in this year’s Book Fair.

 For the convenience of the book lovers, free bus service will be available every day from various parts of Agartala, according to the organizers.

 In the closing ceremony, the organizers will present 14 awards to individuals for their outstanding contributions in various fields.
