43rd Foundation Day: DYFI organizes Blood Donation Camp

Agartala Nov 01: To mark the 43rd Foundation Day celebration of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the Chatra Yuva Bhavan, Agartala.
Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) was founded in its inaugural conference held from 1-3 November 1980 at Shaheed Kartar Singh Saraba village in Ludhiana, Punjab.
As a part of Foundation Day observance, DYFI Tripura State Committee has taken up numerous programs including blood donation camps, procession and other social activities across the state.
Speaking to the reporters DYFI Sadar sub-divisional committee secretary Joudip Raut said, “People of the state and country are still fighting for work, education and food”.
Slamming the state BJP government Raut said,“The education system has come to a standstill in the state under BJP governance. Students across the state are often seen protesting on roads demanding adequate number of teachers in schools and colleges. Same is the condition of the Health system”.
The DYFI leaders urged upon the youth and common people of all sections to lend support towards DYFI’s movement.
About 30 people voluntarily donated blood at the camp.
