Gandacherra, July 12: A total of 46 voters from 22 families of different parties including CPI-M, Tipra Motha and the IPFT joined the ruling BJP party on Tuesday at Gandacherra under the Raima valley mandal.

The Raim Valley Mandal President Samir Ranjan Tripura and MDC Bhumikananda Reang welcomed the newly joined voters and handed over the party flag with them.

BJP Dhalai District Committee Secretary Sati Chakma, Janajati Morcha Dhalai District Committee Vice-President Madhukumar Tripura, General Secretary Pratimohan Tripura, Raima Valley Mandal Janajati Morcha President Khajendra Reang among others were present in the joining programme.

The joining programme was held at Ratnanagar Bazar and before the event, a procession with party workers and supporters marched around the Ratnanagar market area on Tuesday.
