Agartala Jan 28: With the onset of BJP government in Tripura, Club culture has seen a drastic development. Earlier, incidents of enmity between clubs, violence used to be a daily occurrence. But now, clubs have evolved in a positive way and are engaged with social activities, said State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee.

Sunday, the ruling party president of Tripura inaugurated a program organized in Dhaleshwar area of the capital city commemorating the 63^rd foundation day of Purbag Club.

Apart from various other activities such as drawing competition, cultural programs, the club also organized a blood donation camp to mark the occasion.

Speaking to the reporters after greeting the voluntary blood donors, Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “I feel proud to see how the people associated with clubs in the state are working for the society. Other than solving various issues of the locals residing near the clubs, the authorities are also serving the mankind throughout the year”.

Talking about the positive changes in club culture at present, the state BJP president greeted the authorities of Purbag Club for arranging blood donation camp.
