Agartala, July 14: In view of the increasing Covid cases across Tripura, the Administration on Thursday asked all the market committees to ensure Covid appropriate behaviour.

Sub-divisional Magistrate (Sadar), Asim Saha held a meeting with All Tripura Merchant Association and all the bazar committees and asked to maintain wearing of masks, social distancing and sanitization.

Speaking to the media, the SDM said people in large numbers gather market places everyday. Hence, it is important to follow Covid protocols in the markets.

He emphasized on displaying 'No Entry Without Mask' in the entrance of every shopping mall in the city. He also stressed on spreading awareness through miking in the market areas.

The Administration would also sought cooperation from various Clubs for extending help to the people in need. He said, a meeting would be held with the club representatives. The SDM also praised the role of different clubs in Agartala in the previous Covid waves.
