Amarpur RD Block awarded as Best Performing Block in Tripura

Amarpur, Mar 9: In a significant achievement, Amarpur RD Block in Gomati district has been awarded the Best Performing Block in Tripura.
This honour added another feather to the cap of Amarpur RD Block, recognizing its efficiency in implementing development works.
A few months ago, Amarpur RD Block made headlines by securing the second position nationwide for its outstanding execution of government programmes.
Following this national recognition, the state government has now officially honored the block as the best performing block in Tripura.
At a state-level event organized by the Tripura Panchayat department at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan two days ago, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha presented the award to Amarpur RD Block. Along with the Best Block Award, Amarpur also received nine additional awards in different categories.
BDO of Amarpur RD Block Utpal Das, Panchayat Samiti chairperson Suchitra Das, and representatives from various panchayats, including Lata Deb, received the awards at the event.
Speaking about this achievement, the BDO credited the success to the dedicated efforts of all block officials and the support of people in Amarpur. He urged continued cooperation to maintain the reputation of Amarpur RD Block.
